Cancer Research Center (CRC)
This state-of-the-art research facility stands as the flagship of the UABDC property. The three story 108,000 square foot building provides space for dozens of laboratory, office and research support facilities. University at Albany researchers located at the CRC are dedicated to investigating the genetic origins of cancer with the goal of developing viable diagnostics, treatments and cures for various forms of the illness.
George Education Center (GEC)
The Edward S. and Frances Gildea George Education Center is home to the University at Albany’s School of Public Health. The two-story 145,000 square foot educational and office building features an array of classroom, lecture, office and meeting space to meet the growing needs of the health, academic and government programs administered by the School of Public Health. The GEC includes a 200-seat auditorium and adjoining meeting facilities.
Main Laboratory Building (MLB)
This five-wing laboratory complex originally was home to Sterling-Winthrop Drug, Inc. The building currently offers 235,000 square feet of highly adaptive, multi-use laboratory environments which enable tenants, large and small, to grow their research and business efforts. The MLB allows the organic growth of our tenants with an available inventory of laboratory, office and meeting space on four floors.
Bruno Biotechnology Development Center
This 24,000 square foot single tenant facility houses a contract research, development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) performing contract pharmaceutical and biotechnology services for the pharmaceutical industry.
Isolator Solution Building (ISB)
This 30,000 square foot single tenant building which was purpose-built to house a biotechnology service facility performing state of the art contract modeling to provide researchers around the world with extremely fast access to lab models which are critical to their research work.
